Health bar after death

I wasn't watching directly when it happened, but right after. I'm pretty sure the dolphin did a counter attack and killed my Fire Lynx, Which then had the health bar come back and stay max the whole fight.
They didn't target that slot and could his the thing behind it, so all was fine. Just an odd bug.
