Raid bosses are not suppose to be killed by yourself.
Raid Boss HP does NOT recover after you attack it.
Example: Lvl XX Raid boss has 10,000,000 HP
YOU Attack 1 time: 1,000,000 DMG - 10,000,000 HP = 9,000,000 HP Total
Friend #1 Attacks 1 time: 500,000 DMG - 9,000,000 HP = 8,500,000 HP Total
Friend #2 Attacks 1 time: 1,500,000 DMG - 8,500,000 HP = 7,000,000 HP Total
You Attack 2nd time (1 hour later): 1,000,000 DMG - 7,000,000 HP = 6.000,000 HP Total
Friend #3 Attacks 1 time: 2,000,000 DMG - 6,000,000 HP = 4,000,000 HP Total
Friend #2 Attacks 2nd time (1 hour later): 1,500,000 DMG - 4,000,000 HP = 2,500,000 HP Total
Friend #4 Attacks 1 time: 2,500,000 DMG - 2,500,000 HP = 0 HP DEAD.
EVERYONE who attacks get 1x Reward. Friend #2 did most DMG (3.5m) gets 2x Reward. Friend #4 KILLED Boss (Last DMG done) so he gets 2x Reward. YOU summoned Boss so you get 2x Reward.
RECAP:
YOU = 2x Reward.
Friend #1 = 1x Reward.
Friend #2 = 2x Reward.
Friend #3 = 1x Reward.
Friend #4 = 2x Reward.
This is how Raid Boss is suppose to work. Obviously people don't want to count on others in which you have to attack 4 times (1hr cooldown each attack and Raid Boss lasts 4hrs) and hope you do at least 25% damage per attack. (Using Healer/Reviver even if the Raid boss does 99,999 Dmg for example.)
I think most people do NOT understand how Raid Boss works so they only attack if they can SOLO (do 100% Dmg) or get LAST HIT.
