Death Tome Bug

I equipted the new weapon, Death Tome on Sara to see how the weapon and it's glow looked. It ended up messing my game up. I tried restarting the game (logging off then back in) and it does not fix. My character says "new label", my system says "welcome to Final Chronicles!" I am unable to open select windows, for example I can open up party and when I click on weapon, it shows chinese for sara with a common sword weapon and it does not show the book in her hand. When I click on the weapon, it wont allow me to change the weapon. When i click on evolve, i am able to evolve other weapons.

Not trying to be rude but, perhaps in the future, bug test your updates to prevent these gamebreaking bugs from popping up, it is the second time this sort of thing has happened. I like how it's quick and all but, take more time with the game, don't keep rushing these broken updates out.

EDIT: The roster is fixed when Venatlav switched out Sara to another character, this bug is specifically caused when she equips the Death Tome, Ven said he can't go into any type of battle and the game treats him as if he were a new player. It'd be wise to check if the other new weapons to see if it's just a problem with the Death Tome or not.

Hi Ruin & Kold,

Thanks for the bug report and sorry for the issues it has caused. It was caused by a inconsistency of how character models are loaded on our dev environment (does not require downloading extra characters) and the actual game environment (where some characters requires downloading). The local files are correct but we need to create downloadable character models for the game environment. Unfortunately, part of the dev team (including both of our testers) are out on vacation this week, thus we forgot to create the new downloadable models and test again on our testing environment (which is more closer to the game environment compared to the dev environment).

We have temporarily fixed this by making the new weapons for Sara, Charles, and Christina to use the same model as before (it's still new weapon but using previous look). When the dev responsible for creating new downloadable model and patching returns on Monday, we will patch it in first thing in the morning after testing again on the test environment.

Sorry again for the problem this has caused.
