Hi Donkeypunch,
Our dev team tested this and it seems to be working. When using a soul breaker that has at least +1 evolution to activate the skill, the main character will sometimes have an extra hit (sometimes hard to see), but the total damage will be higher than usual. It's probably easiest to notice using his regular attack as the 2 hit vs 3 hit damage numbers are pretty far part.
