Ally collection

Postby Marrra » Mon Nov 16, 2009 9:47 pm

Hi! I've just recently started playing the game and have a ... well, more of a request than a question:

I've so far encountered 4 different allies, and I hate the thought of replacing one and never seeing it again. Is there any chance that allies can be 'collected'? I would suggest that when you encounter an ally, they agree to help you out but you can only have one of them with you at a time - you'd have to choose your active ally. Their experience only goes up when they're with you so you can't just collect them all and have them all level the same, but it would allow those of us who are collectors to be able to have access to all of the allies we come across.

This would also be a help because, as a newbie to the game I have no idea what each of the allies do - so I would like to be able to check them out and see if they'd suit my character's play style.

Having an Ally Collection wouldn't make premium allies redundant, because they are still very different, with premiums always at 100% and your level. So there's still incentive to get those. I just ... would really like to be able to keep all my allies.

To expand on this part - if the game at least had a FAQ or a Wiki that details what each ally does at various levels and such, and which allies are available, all that, would help a lot.

Thanks for the suggestions Marra. Collecting regular allies may not be possible yet in the near future. We had the option of implementing additional ally slots as premium items or premium allies, which are you always choose to re-use even if you replaced them, and we went with the latter.

There are some players who prefer the element of surprise without having every single stats or element of the game spelled out, so we did not include any ally list in our help page. However, if players would like to create lists of them post in the forum, then we would not mind that.

As for your some of your other suggestions in the other thread, some of them are in the to-do list. Please understand that we are still very small and understaffed so it may take a while to see any suggestions implemented.

Cheers,

Thanks for this list - at least it gives me a little guideline to work by.

The only query I have is: is your level range definitive? I'm assuming it's just based off your own experience. I ask because I am level 19 now and am still coming across the white pony (which looks brown). But thanks for your response :)

I think the levels above are referring to the level-locations that the given allies can be found (not the level that you have to be at to find them)

Ahh... that might be why. I can't remember where I found the pony, so I'll have to take your word for it ^_^. Thanks again for the reply.

yep thats it, what i mean is the minimum levels you have to be to get into the area where each ally can be found.

I found a Robot at lvl 27 in the Robot factory. I didn't accept it as I like my current pet. Thought I would add this extra tidbit of info to the thread

skill list: robot arms, twin lasers, rockets
