I like trying out all of the classes, so over the past few years, I have restarted my character a few times, as I knew from experience that all gem purchased items were saved. However, I restarted again today, and after a few levels all of my purchased Virtual Members disappeared. I think I had 15-25. I can't remember exactly, but it's still disappointing that I have lost them after spending the gems on them.

Yep, you keep every premium item and gem balance, but lose your VM's when you restart, this was patched in about 2 years ago, one of the many things removed when you restart to stop people abusing the restart.
