Not sure if anyone else has already reported this but here goes.

When I'm typing in global chat it activates the hot keys so my game screen keeps changing tabs. For example if I type a word with a b in it in global - it banks my money, etc. It's driving me mad and causing me to accidentally swap class and weapons and other such confusion.

Please could you take a look at this issue? It's only happened since expansion.

The same problem has been going on with me, but no one will even look into it!!!! It's been an issue for me since the expansion release. I'm so happy to see I'm not alone with this crap.

I am having the same problem, but only on the FB global chat. I tried an experiment with both global chats. Type a "b" into FB global chat and my bank screen shows up. Ad Free global chat is working fine. Is this something you need to contact FB about? or should all of those having the problem contact FB.?

We made some minor changes that might help, but most likely this is caused by the unfortunately way FB global chat is implemented (which doesn't take focus away from the game in some browsers).

If you reload the game and the problem still exist, you can try following work arounds.

1. Use ad-free mode or use separate tab/window for FB global chat.
2. See if works in a different browser.
3. Click somewhere out side of the game before typing in global chat.

I can't use ad free as it cuts out our guild chat - but I've tried it anyway and the other points you suggest - still same problem. It's just since expansion, driving me mad. Could you have another look please

Please try clearing cache and refreshing the browser again.

Also, if someone can explain how to access this "Facebook Global" chat and what browsers they are using, we might be reproduce the problem to see if it's indeed something that Facebook would need to fix themselves.

the global chat that i mentioned is located right under the game, next to the quick start guide. You click "show live chat" and it opens into Chat Room(Beta). I use Google Chrome. I just tried it out and it seems to be working for me. not sure about anyone else

The game chat... in the facebook version. It's right below the game screen. I use google chrome.

I don't have this problem using Firefox personally.
