I' gotten 2 different ones one the answer was 0 and it said enter a valid number the other the answer was 101 and it only takes 2#

the answer is always in 2 digit format. that is hard-coded. therefore all random chest puzzles are built around that. you must have made a mistake. i was complaining at first, too, before i realized there was an error made on my side.

I would say read very carefully. Sometimes they might say, that they are a certain age NOW and ask how old they were X number of years ago, to where others say they are X age now and how old will they be in X number of years.
