Hello fluffy bottoms - does Hector give extended set items as a reward?

I've been spamming Hectors lately (to get the badge) and I've yet to see anything above +3 or basic scoped/guardian/enchanted. I've never seen anything extended beyond that.

I don't do many hectors but I managed to get a +4 yesterday and a +5 today. Rare I think but seem to be there. I've also noticed that you get a better reward item if you don't solo bosses for some reason - seem to get better results if there's at least one other player on the boss. No idea why

I have killed 4575 hectors and have not yet seen him give an extended item.... so either he doesn't or i am REALLY unlucky!!!!

sorry Tonks. Hector 1948 for me, I don't do many so I've not paid much attention to the drops. I just did a few these last 2 days to try to help answer the question asked in global and that as what I found. maybe a glitch?

Sounds like it might have been a glitch of some sort, as far as I was aware its only drow mine that gives extended gear

It's supposed to be only the drow mine giving extended gear. Sounds like a big glitch.

It appears that the wiki link posted only applies to the Kong version of the game and in any case certainly wouldn't explain how an orc blade of agility +5 would be dropped as a reward. All very dubious!

I never see extended drops, and they are not supposed to drop. If they are appearing, this needs a fix.
