block %

i have a
20% block with devil slayer class and
27% block with my ally and
20% block with protection charm and
20% with my guardians sword .

how much would a really lose by switching to a speed sword..

i think it works something like this.....
first block is 20% so 80% hit
then 27% of 80%
then 20% of 58.4%
then 20% of 47%
= 9.4%

im prob working it out wrong and my head hurts.. lol

Block is comprised into 3 segments; ally, skill (5% call bunnies or 15% banish dance), everything else(5% natural, class, charm, str bonus).

With 270+ you'll get 15% block, we'll just pretend thats what your str is. So you'll have a 80% (60% without), 27%, and 15% blocks.

Guardian Sword: 87.59% block
Non-Guardian Sword - 75.18% block

These block rates translate into an expected average of 17.058 and 13.03 hits on bosses that start one hitting you after turn 9. So if you are going to switch to a non-guardian sword, it should be at least 31% stronger to be better for bosses.
