The past few pillars the galaxy I am in has given lower coupons amounts.

Here are the mails I got from 3 of them

You received 100 coupons because your galaxy ranked #1 in damages when the pillar was destroyed." here is the time 08:33:50 02-26-2013
You received 100 coupons because your galaxy ranked #2 in damages when the pillar was destroyed." Here is the time 05:56:05 02-26-2013
You received 100 coupons because your galaxy ranked #1 in damages when the pillar was destroyed." here is the time 03:34:15 02-26-2013


As you can see something is wrong as these amounts are WAY OFF!!!!!

It's normal. You will only receive 100 coupons if you did not contribute any damage to a pillar in past 36 hours. This is basically an anti-freeriding mechanism that encourages galaxy members to participate.

Yea I found this out after i posted it.
