Is there any point in upgrading...

...the following buildings on other planets?

Shipyard
Laboratory
Institute
Tavern

the higher your shipyard levels are, the more ships you can hold. for every 1 level of shipyard = 4 more MS
example:
planet 1 shipyard level 20, planet 2 shipyard level 1, planet 3 shipyard level 1 = 88 reserve motherships
planet 1 shipyard level 20, planet 2 shipyard level 20, planet 3 shipyard level 20 = 240 reserve motherships

the higher your lab and institute are on other planets, the less ore and energy you spend when rebuilding on multiple planets.
plus on higher levels, being able to do multiple techs at the same time helps, especially when they take hours and then days to complete.

the higher your tavern levels, the better and faster your refresh rates are.
however some people like to keep taverns at level 1 to start their purple heroes from scratch.

Ah, thanks.

I just assumed that the Shipyard didn't do anything extra, and the others only applied to the planet they were on.
