Damage Cap

Is there a Damage Cap on pets? I've found my Cannon Kong Does not get over 2500 using its special, but it should get more when I use a meatball tray on certain monsters. Though this Usually isn't below monsters health, I'd still like to know why.

I don't think a damage cap was designed to be in the game. I will check with devs just to be sure though and respond again if they say otherwise.

Well there is no damage cap as such. The highest damage I dealt was 14000 with several enrage rounds.
There still can be some problems with Kongs special attack which I can't confirm, mine dealt 10k damage with several enrage rounds too.
But maybe we have to ignore the enrage system to see the problem if there is one.
I think if there is one it exists because of the "ignore a part of the pets defense attribute" thing.
