why does some pets require 2 balls to catch them?

Yes, some pets will require more than 1 ball to catch.

but it doesnt make sence to me
a lvl 22 flurry purple costed 1 ball , same for blue
and sometimes the green version on lvl 20 costed 2 balls

dont know where to post this but i play dragon tear on facebook and been havin trouble on the atlantis island merpeople fought it like 3 times and lose but the problem is it talks gos into the lineup but 95% of the time it just loads doesnt go into battle just loadin screen thing so outta curiosity i timed it 30 mins of loadin b4 i got tired of waiting and reloaded the page tried other stages and they all load fine its just the merpeople stage that dont wanna load for me so question is is it my cpu and if so how can i fix it or is it a bug/glitch
