I've been trying for the last couple of weeks to save my iron for the higher necklaces but it keeps vanishing ! Why would this be happening ? I had over 40 yesterday and today I have 3 ! Not having used any I'm wondering where they're going ?

Did you do the "Strong Foundations" daily quest with Gandude? If so, that will subtract 40 iron ores from your inventory.
