IIRC- the Lucifer war rewarded the top 4 guilds and no one complained about that... only the member rewards sucked since it was primarily dark maidens.

Actually, I remember at least one person complaining about number of "freeloaders" (players who didn't earn the card other than being in the right guild) getting the 7* card both when it was top 3 and top 4 guilds. Perhaps they may have changed mind when they realize it's as easy to maintain the top 2 guilds.

Anyways, the reward will be what it is right now. If this war show that we need more than reward the top 5 players because the third place had several player below rank 5 with 50k points, then we would adjust in the next time. Right now, need to keep number of players that will get 2 cards relative low as this is the first time the boss appears.

Happy spending. It sounds like PM just said forget the majority of players lets just give our top spenders a bonus while our other spenders can get something that would only cost coins in the shop. In the spirit of supporting the game and competition I understand spending some but only one card is worth spending and it's not worth what you ballers are going to spend.
