So if you are hunting a specific item on a map that has more than 1 Golden Chest item, is it better to spin 5's forever until you get 2 golden chest or just get 1 golden chest and repeat the mission?

Also how does the 1.5x drop rate come into play?

Most chests you can get without 1.5x drop rate per stage is as follows
Stage 1: 4 chests
Stage 2: 5 chests
Stage 3 and above: 6 chests

The 1.5x drop rate bonus works by multipling the max amount of chest you can get per map.
So for stage 3 or above map you can get 9 chests (6x1.5) when the 1.5 drop rate bonus is active.

I am unsure as to the max chests that can drop on the daily bonus map stages if someone could enlighten me that would be great.

As for you golden chest question, I think it is always best to get as many chests as you can before finishing a map. So just spin on 5 till you reach max chests and then finish. Sometimes I have received 3 golden chests on a single run.

On Daily Exp Dragons you can get 4+1 on Normal and 5+1 on Difficult maps.

For Weekly Materials cards you can usually get 4+1 chests.
But Void Field drop only 2+1

Also, this two golden chests drop have different probability - second drop will be 2-3 times more rare than first.
This means that you should get as much chests as possible from each run.

One more thing - chances of receiving golden chest quickly drops with levels.
At Chapter 1 you usually get golden chest every 3rd run. At Chapter 5 you can run ten times and didn't get even one golden chest.

I've never been able to get the 3 + 1 chests on Void.... only 2 + 1 for boss kill. Can someone confirm?

Not trying to call anyone out... I had 20 rainbow maps before the GS changes, and now I need to farm them again :/. It's been a while! Just making sure I wasn't missing out on an extra chest.
