Because it's recovery boss should have added passive heal to it)
It would be hilarious to hit him and see that it heal back every turn for 4k :D

1k defense + heal = funniest GW boss in history.

I liked this new kind of boss, but I agree on lowering def to help people.
And, for next war could you plan a poison boss that doesn't attack but just spreads poison that increases every turn? It would be funny too :)

The armour is up yes, but the HP is considerably lower (I think). I nearly killed the boss with 0 free spins. I think for people with a end game setup, this boss is considerably easier. (I didn't even notice the armour). And whoever said the Zeus comment, you're roughly 100% wrong.

It does look too easy compared to previous boss with lowered defense due to much later double attack round. I have moved it up slightly (1 attack) earlier so it's more inline with the previous bosses.

The double hit is at 24th turn now...
I was using doll + healer combo
if I knew this earlier, I would use nurify damage at that turn!
Wish the gm wouldn't change the boss mechanic again :(
The boss is updated twice since this guild war starts....

Adaption is the key to success. ^^
The first 3 Guild Wars were all pretty different. To adapt to a couple of small changes is fine compared to having to adapt to a whole new fight.

Another great big gem war. Thanks Playmage, let's all burn out in one huge blaze of glory and buyer's remorse!

There has to be some middle ground between making the boss hard enough for high level players with all the right cards and easy enough for low level players to make a few points. Whatever this is, It was not all the way thought out... or maybe it was. I won't be doing this again though for a "trophy card."

Of course, I guess it is our choice to spend money on gems. I just know someone will bring that up if I don't say that in this post. And I don't mind spending money if it is fun, this is ceasing to be fun.

Given the double hit was set way back on 28th hit, the 6k defense may have been intentional and the designer didn't realize tat it would alienate players without fixed/poison/high damage cards from the war completely. Anyways, things are fine as they are now with the changes (thanks to everyone for their feedback). I will talk to them about future planning (making new global boss different but not impossible for new players) when they return to the office next week.
