Healer (14) + two 7* HP cards (17*2) + two Panzers (2*30) = 108 CP.

Level 146 speed up things a bit.

I saw I had enough HP for insane, so I went in with blue healer+ 7* achilles as leaders and zeus, amazon raider, werewolf and princess maria.
Worst 2h of my life. 1 for getting to the panzer with 3000 unprotected hits every 25 turns and a -30% every 30. 1 to down the panzer. And for what? 6 common chests.

I got Earth Panzers from Insane, but would love to level them up before they go away, and it sounds like Hell drops far more Panzers than Insane. My highest HP cards (maxed out) that I can put in one team (I am not high level) are Snake Spirit (immortal), Harpy the Winged Spirit, Naga, and Dragon Paladin + Holy Priestess and a friend's Cyclops Chief.

I'd appreciate any advice please--can I beat Hell with that set-up? And should I anticipate revives?

It should work but test your team out in chapter 1 half energy to see what your total HP will be... you only need 13.1k hp so I don't think you'll need all three of those hp cards in your lineup.

Based on what you suggested, here's what you should aim for and then sub in accordingly:

Leader - Holy Priestess
Snake Spirit Immortal (you'll want this to poison)
any other 7* HP card (try 6* hp if not)
Zeus or Blackbeard (try highest attack card or another 6* hp if still need more hp)
Panzer dragon (high attack card if not, or lower timer special attack card)
Co-Leader - Cyclops

Hard to say for certain without knowing your total CP and cards you have to pool from- but that should get you started.

If you have Zeus or Blackbeard your fights will be much quicker- without them you're looking at a 2-3hr fight (at that point, poison the dragon before you go to bed, autospin and wake up in the morning to collect)... if you end up doing that, I'd suggest forfeiting if you get 5 brown chests and only finish the stage if you have a guaranteed gold to open

81 CP is rough- but best route sounds like it would be:
Holy Priestess (14)
SS Immortal (17)
Harpy WS (17)
Blackbeard (15)
and whatever high attack card you can fit in for <18 cp while hitting the 13.1k hp

I'm not sure I can fit in a high attack card and hit the HP. I have the usuals: Vampire Princess, Succubus Queen, Cerberus, Gigas the Saboteur, Medusa the Jealous. I also have Hecate, but I'd have to level up a bit to use her and I don't think she'd help--it looks like I can't get the needed HP with any of my direct attack cards. Even if it takes longer, can I survive without a high attack card?

It's better to spend energy leveling.
With 81 CP it's not worth spending hours of time and tons of energy to getting more Earth Panzers.
