We will increase the max card limit to 250, especially considering there is new set of time-limited bosses coming soon in addition to new guild war bosses. However, keep in mind that the server has to send all 250 card information to the client when you login. This means the more cards you have, then longer the wheel will spin when you log into the game. We will probably keep to 250 max limit to avoid network congestion and players with poor network connections shooting themselves in the foot.

Admin, looking long term at the future of DE, would this be increased again if new content is gradually released such that it would warrant an additional increase? I am taking into consideration such things as the number of cards that only have a single evolution as opposed to two evolutions (excluding 7* cards; cerberus, Valkyrie, Slayer doll, Amazon raider, Hoplite, Gigas are some of those i am referencing) in addition to the release of new content via time-limited dungeons, guild wars, etc.

It's possible for the limit to increase again in the distant future I can't say for sure whether the limit will ever change from 250, but in reality managing more 250 cards is quite bit of challenge itself. There is always the monster list for card collection purposes and it shouldn't be that hard to only keep 200 of your best cards in your actual card list.
