Hello HernHunter, we haven't planned on any events like that yet and they are no likely to return in the near future, but I wouldn't rule the possibility of them returning few months down the road.

Speaking of updates. When 2.XX came out, Android kind of auto updated for me, which is rad and all. But 2.0.2 didn't auto update or even let me know it existed (found out through forums).

Is this intentional?

I think both iTunes and Google Play has ability to auto-update apps for players as long as you don't disable it from the setting. Developers actually don't have control on which update would be automatically updated through this mechanism as far as i know. It's possible however there is certain schedule (eg, days of week or every few days) and requirement (eg. on wifi for certain period of time) before auto update kicks in.

I'll investigate my settings further. Only swapped over to Android a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the reply.
