Hey guys, I was trying to find an answer but have not really found anything set in stone. What is so special about God cards compared to other cards, their stats seem a lot lower.

God is simply one of the Race in this game. there is no special superiority.

For Race, we have Human, Beast, Nature, Demon, God, Dragon and EXP Bonus. This doesn't really affect the stats unless you use a Leader Ability that boosts stats of a particular race. (Like Lucifer for Demons or Archwitch for Humans)

The Type(consists of Attack, HP, Recovery and Balanced) determines the specialty of the card. HP card specialise in having insane amount of HP but lack in Recovery stats. Attack type will have higher Attack than other stats and usually will be your biggest hitting force, Balanced type like it says is balanced in HP, Attack and Recovery. Recovery type specialises in Recovery and will have higher Recovery stats compared to other cards.. So Race plays little importance in stats. The type of the card determines the pattern of the stats the card should have.

Understanding these types lets you fine tune your team to your specific needs.

Usually by Gods means 6* card like - Zeus, Gaea, Thetis, Gabriel and Hecate.
They are God (Balance), thus have high HP and attack values, plus they can be evolved to 8*
Also you can buy them from shop, so they easy to collect.

With addition of new evolution to 8* from 7* damage reduction cards (Like Necromancer, Blackbeard, etc) Gods are not so powerful now.
For example 8* Necromancer is on par with 8* Hecate. But Necro have better both passive and active skills.

P.S. This damage reduction cards also from Balance Type)

Alright thanks, I just have that mentality that because it is a "God" it would be more powerful, so i figured I would ask to see what the actual deal with them was.

No-one has mentioned the fact that 8* God cards wreck the arena. Aside Zeus, this is their primary function for players who have them.

.....

Gabriel is demon race, like Cyclops, Lilith, Reaper and if i am right you can not get them from GS, even from lvl8.

Just the 8* version, right? Because I often beat various gods 6* with sucky cards.

Yeah, 6* Gods are trash in arena, thus I specified 8*

You can get them from Guild Shop. Athena and Hecate appear late game as a reward from stages, but you'll need more than 1/2 of them.
