No death strategy

Postby Carava » Sun Jun 15, 2014 2:07 am

Has anyone taken the time to put a near full deck of naga or some random card with op attack timers together? Lol the passive leader ability would be useless and you would only have 1-3 shooters depending on the skill lvl. Just something i could only zealously wish for as I continue on chapter 4.

Carava,

Whilst your thought and planning is there, the skills don't stack like that. There come's a point where Echidna/Naga forces you to take one to the face. Sorry mate.

That said, you can accomplish something similar with all valkyries or all priestesses of light or what have you. It only works for a single element, obviously, but once you get it going it will run forever. Like the naga/possessed doll ability, it doesn't stack, but in this case, it's possible because the ability runs out after your opponent hits you but before your turn. The naga/doll skill runs out when the enemy actually hits you, so no infinites.

I haven't found any real uses for this outside of raid bosses, but it's worth pointing out. Also, you may need to skill up your valks/priestesses/princesses/amazons/berserkers, depending on what you're fighting. Though you should have craptons of health.

Heh yeah I know that there are other setups butt im still new with and it was only wishful thinking. I used naga as an example cuz I saw one in my shop yesterday. I finally got 20k gp for the first time today. Nice to know I shouldnt combine possessed doll with naga much... not like I have either :P

Mmmm, well the biggest problem with combining a Doll and Naga setup would be the issue of running a high HP count in what is meant to be a low HP setup. The skills may not provide a bullet proof system as you want, but undermining the Doll leader skill would prove to be a bigger issue.

Say your fighting a light boss, you could use naga then priestess then naga then priestess and so forth or does it not work that way?

I think you could do that, because they are different skills.
So potentially you could delay 3 turns, nullify 3 turns, then delay 3 after.

Hrmm...

It works for sure. Used delay/nullify/delay combo many times on GW long time ago. Problem is that you come to moment when you do not have any more active delay or nullify skill & only thing you can do that moment is take shot & fall with pride (unless you have 5 maxed skills, that way you can survive).
