Famine Horse'man' - suspiciously female?

Famine Horse'man' - suspiciously female?

Postby mistervista » Thu Jun 26, 2014 3:12 pm

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but can anyone tell me why this horseman is quite obviously female! It just seems strange, when the description refers quite clearly to fighting 'him' to then make the horse'man' a horse'woman'.

You do realise that the title of a female horseman, is still horseman... Gender has nothing to do with that.

Not in the English language. Besides, I'm referring also to the fact that in the description of the dark apocalypse map on the homepage it clearly states
wherever 'he' has been
and
let's defeat 'him'
. Either Playmage know some very strange individuals or they seriously need a proofreader. Probably the latter seeing as it also says
wherever he has been fruit rotten
which is awful grammar.

Ah, the 'he' stuff I never read. And in the English language, horseman/horsemen can still be used to reference females.

horse·man [hawrs-muhn] Show IPA
noun, plural horse·men.
1.
a person who is skilled in riding a horse.
2.
a person on horseback.
3.
a person who owns, breeds, trains, or tends horses.

Has nothing to do with gender dude. But yes, I kind of agree with the he/him stuff, but where does it say that? I don't usually read the flavour text down the bottom.

Hi all, sorry for the gender mistake. We pre-wrote the system news and forgot to check the graphic and check the news again before releasing it. The news of "Bonus Dark Apocalypse Map" should have been corrected.

Hi mistervista, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Enjoy the game!

You're welcome pmsupport. If you ever need a proofreader in future I'm available for a small fee ;)
