Revives Cost gold not gems. Farm Solomon mines for gold and buy them from the shop. Stop wasting your real life money paying for them.

It sounds like the game is having some problems...

The reason is people got bored waiting for new contents and the last expansion was a disappointment.
If you take a look at other games, they have special competitive events come and go every week with a change of gaming style every few months. Dragon Era feels plain boring compared to those games.
Also using revives as a requirement to clear later chapters/apocalypse hell has discouraged a lot of players.
Having multiple 5/5 panzer also makes the game less challenging thus less interesting, so a lot of these players lose interest quick.

Yes, donating coins for guild points is a good way to get free revives if you do not want to purchase them with Gems. Some player do also buy potions in bulk as well so save time, but at least there is a free option for players willing to invest time to farm coins/guild-points.

Lol Everything in this game is Money and Luck and that's just how it is.
