Arena team order - Opponent swap?

Every now and then when you fight in the arena, your opponents team layout will reverse.
IE: Their leader will be 5th position monster, not 1st, and so forth.

Is this working as intended? Or is it a random bug which I am experiencing?

Sometimes I adjust my arena team layout to counter another player to ensure smooth sailing for the day, then all of a sudden their arena team flips on me. I mean, if this is part of the game, cool story let me know, but it sucks to lose a new win streak when we make an actual effort to prevent further loss.

Additional note: I know they did not counter my counter, because I have the person on my friends list and I know their leader monster has not changed, but it did go from 1st to 5th randomly, and back again.

Hi Boop, thanks for the report. The team layout should not change if the team has not been changed manually. I have forwarded it to the QA team to reproduce.
Is there any chance the player happened to be adjusting their team?

Thanks for the quick reply. Their team could not have changed order, because their leader was the 5th monster, and they did not have 2 of them in the team. I've had it a few times in the past where the opponent arena team last monster (5th) is their current leader. Never bothered me until today though.

Thanks for reporting this. We have found what might be causing the occasional lineup change-up. We will make the behavior more consistent when we patch the server next time, probably after the current Guild War.

Talking of team order in general, is it possible to sort your team in a particular order because I haven't found a way to do it? I've tried removing all team members and then selecting them again in the order I want but when I use them they appear in a different order to how I've placed them. I've tried many times but for whatever reason they won't stay as I put them. Any ideas?

Add them to your team one at a time.

Yeah, one at a time. It's a pain but allows control over your team order and methodology.

One more suggestion about arena. Is it possible to be not your last used or edited team as arena team oponentes meet, but fix it on team set #1 from 1-5 sets? So when you are attacked you are defending allways with that same team set, no matter what set you used last or are using now.
