Help me, help you!

Dear Admin,

I like to spend money on your game a lot. Much more than I'm willing to admit to my better half. I buy gems $15 at a time as that is the lowest amount ITunes offers as a gift card. I protect my better half from the stress she feels when I spend money on your game by purchasing a $15 gift card every time I go grocery shopping. With this $15 I purchase the $9.99 gem package and then I have to buy the $.99 10 gem pack 4 times and with tax that uses up my $15. Could you please make a package that is $13.99 for 160 gems. In turn this would cause me to buy more gems and Playmage would increase their PROFITS. So in the words of Jerry Maguire, "Help me, help you!"

Thank you for considering my suggestion for increasing your PROFITS!

Why don't you just save up for the $100 package?

The reason he is still playing is probably because he spends small amounts frequently.
If he purchase a $100, I bet his other half would notice it pretty quickly... $100 is hard to miss when going through the bill.
Spending $100 on a game would probably also grant his iPad the ability to fly across the room.

Hello, my name is I8apuss and I'm a Dragon Era-aholic.

Next time you come across a crackhead ask him why he doesn't save up and buy a really big crack rock.

While this sounds like a simple and reasonable request, I am afraid the design team is adamant about not adding additional price points and keep the current ones unchanged. Basically, studies have shown anything more than 6 different price points will significantly lower purchase rate due users overwhelmed with too many chooses, and current pricing points is set optimally to match majority of users preferences (as well as paper bill denominations).

One simple way around the mention gift card issue is to keep the remaining balance in the account to combine with following weeks' balance, for example buying $10, $10, $20, or $10, $10+$5, $10+$5.

I really feel sorry for him. I do agree that sometimes $15 is all I can spend "extra" on the game and you dont have that option so I just dont buy.

You are making it sound like if we don't offer purchase options below $15, which isn't true (there is 3 purchase package below it at $1, $5, $10). If another player wants a optimal purchase package for $25, and another want at $30 or $40, should we add them all as well? Sorry for the lack of flexibility on this issue. For reason why the design team do not want to create more purchase packages, please see the reply above.
