My guild has just grown dramaticly and for us is the discussion who should be a star member or regular member. Would be grateful to hear how the guilds in the top 20 make their decisions.

On GW rank or Donation rank. Some guild mix these and give the best of both a star. Obviously giving stars to guys/gals u like most or are activest in chat is also an option..

It is important to be clear to members what the requirements are in the guild for different statuses. If someone has no idea what it takes, there is a good chance they will move on.

My vice leader and I decide based on 3 criteria.

1. Donations
2. Activity/ helping others in guild
3. Gw score

We personally do not switch stars around. We feel once you've earned your star you get to keep it. Now people have lost their stars by not fulfilling the activity requirement ( ours is logging in every 48 hours)
