Query regarding Lab upgrades

Can you tell me how the lab upgrade works at level 20. I ask because I recently upgraded ours and it said that 'attacks increase 8% in all battles'. I checked the amount of my dragons skill attacks before and after the upgrade and it hasn't changed at all. I can't discern any increase in any attack at all to be honest so can you tell me whether or not it is broken. It takes a massive amount of time and money to do these upgrades so when we finally get there I expect to see a definite improvement, which I'm not doing at the moment.

Hi mistervista, the skill is upgraded from "The attack power of star members and above increases 8% in all battles." to "The attack power of all non-new members increases 8% in all battles." Therefore, the attack stat boost remains the same for star members, vice leader and guild leader.
