I kind of doubt we'll see full heal cards or god cards now that they evolve into such great things, but those would be awesome rewards as well...

if we're talking about the reward for getting all chests in a stage, i think it would be fine. after all those rewards can only be earned once. and we're talking about the final areas

I think every card should be available in the game at least once. Only available through gem recruits stinks. I almost decided not to get bastet so I could evolve persephone this war. I hate having to choose cause who knows when I'll get another chance at her card. I'd play through a few god difficulty maps to get some of those cards and probably use a few revives if I saw that gold chest pop up...
