This is not the first guild to offer promotions, although my guild doesn't use these methods, there are many out there that do. I've heard of gem rewards in other guilds. I don't think it will change the game play because it already existed before, just think this was the first guild to use the forum to advertise it. People who are loyal to their guilds will stay and those who are not will go for the promotions. Good Luck with your promotion Arc.

Our promotion is aimed that those who pretty much can or already do donate that much. OR, for people on the edge, to push themselves to get there. We already have people in our guild that do 60M per WEEKEND sometimes for nothing, so we're just trying to be nice along with adding an incentive to join. 125M per month with the right team is not that difficult at all.

arc - i am not saying it is difficult. heck, even a unskilled, amateurish, hack like me can do it. $10 just seems like a low motivator in relation to the time that one will never recoup from life. time is the one resource that can never be replenished and i guess i just cherish each moment.

but, hey, that is me. it is all good. i am sure you and many others differ. and, i wish only good luck in their, and your, endeavor.
