Advanced Maps

Postby wolfchen007 » Sun Feb 12, 2017 2:26 am

I'm currently trying to progress through the advanced maps. I understand that they are advanced and that they get more difficult the higher you progress, and I understand and don't mind to a degree that you need to use revive potions, but what I don't understand is that why the drop rate for gold chests is almost non existent. Example, my partner and I together have attempted No. 22 Ancient Forest, Blessed Land of Sylph, more than 40 times. Together we have only had about 15 gold chests and each time its the 'Ooze' card. It's also the same with the other Advanced chapters. Why have you done this? It takes the enjoyment out of the game. Please review the drop rates to make this game more enjoyable. Thank you.

Good luck with that. We've been asking for increased drop rates all round for years but they just aren't interested. All they care about is screwing more money out of us, hence the increased difficulty of everything and doubling the price of potions in the guild shop. I don't play the advanced maps at all any more because they're no fun and the rewards aren't worth the time, effort and cost of revives.

I haven't noticed a change in drop rate, usually about 1 gold chest per try, with maybe 1/10 gold chests being the higher level one. Or so. Some have been very frustrating indeed. That said, I played them all just to complete them, and only ever go back to farm when they have 1.5x the drop rate (so 9 chests per play). So, roughly, 1/9 is a gold chest, 1/90 is the gold chest I want.

I do think the rewards aren't that helpful once you get to the point where you can actually complete these, but it's still a good mix of cards.

I haven't completed the new set of maps yet, but I'm thoroughly enjoying playing them.

Yeah, give it time. The rewards get GOOD.

I usually get 2 gold chests per run, so I don't know the problem :P

NM, there's only 3 new levels. Just finished them. Rewards are pretty decent overall.

Hi PM, since my last post I have attempted the same map another 20 times with a return of 10 gold chests. On one occasion I received 3 gold. In every instance the gold chest revealed a purple ooze. I suggest you make the gold chests more readily available or introduce something more enjoyable. At this point in time I am reluctant to do any more advanced maps for not much return other than experience and I know others feel the same. There should be greater rewards for continuous grinding imo. I would be interested in your reasoning for more making it so difficult.
