Guild War Points

Hi Playmage, is it just me or have you intentionally reduced the total points reward for killing the Guild War Boss?
I used to get between 1318-1333 in past Guild Wars but with the current one it's only 1276-1286.
That means I now have to do more fights if I want to score 50k.
Is this a ploy to get me to spend more on gems? I hope not!

Also, I'm wondering why the points aren't always the same each time it's killed?

The point formula hasn't changed for the past few wars (since boss were at 6M HP). The only change that might be causing what you see is possibly the amount of overkill damage you dealt to the boss.

So you get more points if you don't overkill?

Today first GW just enough to Kill Boss and received 1276 then later gave boss a gigantic hit at the end and received 1285, is that how it's supposed to be?
Still haven't been able to get anything higher than 1286, past Guild Wars the lowest I got was 1319....the formula is definitely different....please test it, you will see.

@wolf - Is that a difference of having star status versus regular status in your guild?

I've always had a Star. I'm wondering what points other players are getting, have they noticed a drop as well?

The formula has not changed since boss had 6M HP. Have you switched guilds recently?

I normally get between 1295-1315 for a kill. It hasn't changed for me at all.

I'm trying to use as few revives as I possibly can, what with the recent inflation thereof, so I haven't killed this boss as often as previous ones, but when I do, I usually get 1300 points, +/- about 15 or so. The most recent time I killed him, I specifically remember seeing 1305, but I also remember one this War where I got 1287.

Usually, with the teams I run (depending on what my friends have available) I usually have to settle for around 1100, but it's usually enough to stay on pace.

Scoring was normal I suspect wolf change guild's the higher your guild the higher you can score
