Auto-Update?

Is there any way to disable auto-update or to receive an alert for an upcoming update? I play on a tablet and everytime there's an update, i get kicked out of the app and lose the time spent, e spent, and chests farmed (and coins lost). Usually, i wouldn't complain but this has happened more than once and seeing how it takes 10 min to regen 1 e, if there's a way to avoid this occurance from happening again in the future, i'd much appreciate it.

While we understand the frustration that this may cause, it's not a mechanism we can control - Auto-update is is a device/store specific setting. You can try use Google (or your favorite search engine) and search for "disable auto update itunes" or "disable auto update google play".
