Did not receive Gem Recruit

Just made a purchase of the fifty gem recruit. When the chest opened it showed, a five star dark maiden. The purchased gave 100 miles which brought my total miles to 7000. When I opened the cards window to evolve the card, the card was not in my inventory. Please look into this for me. Also as to new version 2.0.8, it has allowed me to return to playing Dragon Era on my iPad, instead of my iPhone! Thank you for all of your hard work in making this a more enjoyable game!
