Can't Sync with Facebook.

I'm trying to sync my account with Facebook to obtain the free gems. When I attempt to do so, a message appears saying "Dragon Era would like to access your public profile and friend list." I press okay, but then the screen goes back to the Dragon Era Social Menu, and does not give me any gems. In addition, the Facebook option is still showing, meaning it hasn't synced yet.

I've already tried to fix this by force-stopping Dragon Era, clearing the cache in the Facebook app, and restarting my phone.

If it helps with troubleshooting, I am running the game on a Galaxy S5 with Android version 4.4

As an update, my friend tried to do the sync on both his phone and tablet, resulting in the same problem. Seems it may be a server-wide issue.

Hi Eleon, please follow the instructions below to see if they help:

First of all, check whether Dragon Era is blocked:
Get on Facebook on your computer (not the mobile version)-> Go to Privacy Settings-> Scroll down to apps ->check if Dragon Era is blocked. if yes, unblock it

Solution 1:
- Close the Dragon Era app.
- Open your phone's settings and select apps.
- Select Facebook and then clear its CACHE. Leave 'data' alone or you'll lose your Facebook login and other settings.
- Reboot your phone

Solution 2:
Close Dragon Era (x it in running apps)
Go to SETTINGS->Facebook->Allow these apps to use your account:-> Then for Dragon Era slide to off, then slide to on.
Open Dragon Era and try to connect to Facebook again

Solution 3:
Update your Facebook app

Solution 4:
Go to Settings ->choose Accounts-Facebook ->sync your Facebook with your account and see if that with take care of it

Hi Eleon, have you been able to link other games to Facebook?

I haven't tried. However, as I said in my update, my friend is also having the same issue on both his phone and tablet, which could point to a problem with the game server.
