Kindle Fire HDX Hangs on "Tap to Enter"

Hello
When I load Dragon Era on my Kindle Fire HDX, the picture gets darker as soon as the first image appears. Once the "Tap to Enter" screen appears, it is still darker than usual (although my Amazon GameCircle box pops up bright and clear). Tapping the screen doesn't do anything. I have restarted my Kindle, force stopped the app, and tried re-running it, all with the same results.

Hi MinceMeat101,

Can you send me your 6 letter/digit friend code (menu->friendship->search) so we can pull up your account? There is a known update to Google Play version that might cause this problem but shouldn't affect the Amazon version of the app. You can also try reinstalling based on the instruction below:
