I've had the same issue for months now. I had just given up at this point. Half of the time I don't even get the free gems option under the gem refill tab.
My android version is 4.0.4
My game version is 4.0.6

Hi DeeJay & neonfawn, thanks for the information. The free gems button does not always appear in game, but you can use the Tapjoy app and discover more options of earning free gems in Dragon Era in the Tapjoy app.

I have the app installed. However,I have used both the app and the in game button when available. No matter what I use, I have never received any free gem rewards. So telling me about using the app to get rewards, I am sorry to say is useless.
Maybe you can have someone try to fix the problem and find out why no rewards are being issued? That would be useful.

Have you guys ever transferred the account to a different device away from the one that you originally install the game?

We have seen some cases where Tapjoy does not report back to us enough information to identify the user to credit on the Android side but they are rare, we will look further into this next week and may deploy a workaround in such cases if possible.

I have transferred once, but that was right after I started the game, and the tapjoy free gems still worked then, as that' how I got a lot of my gems. It has not worked for months since though.

I have never transferred the account from the original device but I did have to reinstall the game once a few months ago.
