Hi mistervista, it should be fixed. We have tested it on our device with android 5.0 system installed and no lag and crashes happened. Did you friend update their game version to the latest?

It's not good on mine. I just installed lollipop and tried farming some jewel dragons but it's very stuttery! Not happy because I can't go back now.
I'm using a Sony Xperia Z3 tablet.

Hi mistervista, are your other games running smoothly? Please clear more space in your device main memory as well as SD card and reinstall the game to see if it helps.
