Weapon talents

Hi there! I have a question; I've got the phoenix scepter with has 'burn' as its talent... Do I need to combine this weapon with e.g. Shaya the fire mage to get this talent? (Shaya had also the talent of burn and I don't know if such hero talent is a prerequiste for the staffs talent to work or if I can better give this staff to some other mage (e.g. Ophelia).

Hi Lilanke, you can equip it on any hero who can use scepter.

May be too late for you, but for future... Weapon skills are additional to character skills. So using the heat skill scepter with Shaya is a waste because she already has heat. Also - do not use high end weapons on any 4 star cards, even 5 star cards (Ophelia). Wait for a good 6 star card, it will be worth the wait. Otherwise you lose that weapon forever.
