I think a decent handful of players have a bunch of fame 5 heros. Perhaps it is time to consider starting the mad rush to fame 6?

Bump! Yes to this please! Everyday more and more are reaching fame V. Maybe atleast unlock exp?

There are only about a dozen players with fame V heroes, so I doubt everyday has new player reaching fame V.... Unlocking fame tier VI requires some client changes that we aren't quite ready for yet (it has to be released with next major client update). The dev team can make fame to start to accumulate first, but our designer doesn't think it's a good experience as it's possible for players to reach 100% before fame VI is ready, so this still has to wait a bit.

Ok wow. Considering it takes like 3 - 4 month to reach fame V, assuming fame VI will be more difficult I suppose I can wait until the year 2019.Hopefully we'll atleast see a ch 6 by then.

I will check with the dev team if there other ways to make changes without a client update to allow Fame 6 progress to display correctly. If it's possible we will at least unlock the exp progress first.
