Bunch of stuff

1. Pet dodge is coded wrongly.
Every 1 dodge adds 5.3 dodge to the hero's stat. In contrast, every 1 pet hit adds 1 hit to hero's stat.

2. Pet rescue opponent availability is bugged.
Every failed raid, opponent is no longer available to be challenged again immediately (unless bot). However, if successful raid, same opponent can appear but the chances of raid success drops to zero despite whatever is indicated.

3. Raid don't carry guild gold/exp buffs in rewards.
But this may be intentional so I'll just point it out.

Worth a fix maybe~

While you are at it, could you limit the number of practice fights to a particular opponent to a reasonable number? I mean, deleting 20++ practice fight notifications from a single person everyday is very very annoying.

UPDATE:

1. This has been been fixed.
2. The first scenario has been fixed, but the second scenario is probably just bad luck.
3. The bonus only applies to quest dungeons.

As for the mail spam due to practice fights, we will look into adding a delete all button in the future if this become an major issue.

Thanks again for the reports.

Thanks alot guys my team was just effectively ruined.

Are you guys seriously going to implement a game-changing patch without any compensation? People invested so much just to see it reduced. At the very least VIPs deserve a pet food and/or souldusts refund...

Not to mention how much more difficult it will be to survive/complete certain stages. Congrats, you just gave people an unfair advantage.

Lastly, the dodge pet & stat are still screwy, pet bonuses are staying after unequipping pets and or being shuffled around and activated on other party members, this does not seem to be the intended effect.

That wasn't a "game-changing patch", it's a bug fix. Pervious if a pet says dodge +10, it was adding +10 dodge (which is intended), but then adding additional 10% dodge instead of adding percentage based dodge bonus from the hero's weapon.

The pet stats are working fine for our accounts, do you have a specific hero or reproduction case/steps for the problem you are currently seeing?

I agree with Phongo and Cgamp. The dodge drop ruined the builds of many people, me included. My build wasn't a dodge stacking one like phongo who had 2000 dodge (no idea how he even pulled something so weird but anyway) however my Sara's mediocre dodge played a huge role on my build. Especially in Arena and I suppose it did so for many other people.
Thus I suggest the dodge counter getting back to the previous stage, however setting a certain number as the dodge limit.
If anything, new players can benefit from this, however players who have been working on their build for months like me are really damaged from this update.
Just for the record, never did a huge math on it, but from what I know, 1 dodge point on pets/soulstones added 4 dodge to the hero instead of 5.3.

I think some type of refund seems fair. I know I spent a huge amount of dust and gems on getting my build to where it is. This fix really messed with everyone. The f2p players now have to readjust which will take them forever. I think we need to be compensated.

I am afraid I can't justify a compensation for a bug fix when players have previously benefited from a side effect of an obvious bug. If anything, intentionally building your heroes to take advantage of a bugged pet dodge stat (because other stats only add displayed value) instead of reporting the issue as icyglaze has done is considered exploiting. Right now, the dodge build is still a effect build, and dodge pets are just no longer incorrectly overpowered compared to other pets.

It's not exploiting when you are unaware of it. As I said, 1 dodge point giving 4 dodge to the hero seemed weird but normal. It wasn't an obvious bug. We can't complain for getting 32 power points after upgrading the attack blessing while only getting 4 power points for upgrading the defebse blessing.
Blaming us for benefiting or exploiting in a bug's back would be the same as us blaming you for the bug occurring. I've been working on my account since january. February at most and so have many other players which makes it a bit unfair on your side to blame us when you haven't hired a single moderator on the game. Not even voluntary moderators (yes they work on other games).
When it came to this, at the very least it would be better to nerf dodge's opposite-hit to the same counting algorithm like dodge. At the very least players would be compensated and the system woulf be balanced instead of ruining months of hardwork.
Again, exploiting that bug would mean having everything on the easy way. All of us still worked, raided and spent gems to level those pets and modify the soulstones.

We aren't blaming players for the bug, but we definitely have to fix what was broken and we are sorry that the bug even existed. However, players that are truly unaware of the advantage of pet dodge boosts stat given more bonus than it states, they wouldn't purposely spent lots of effort only build dodge pets. Adding more stats than it state is pretty obviously broken (while power rating is a estimate formula that doesn't effect any of your hero attributes). A close analogy would be if a corporation spend effort to build their strategy to take advantage of a government tax loophole that made no sense, then demand the government to compensate their effort when the loophole was closed.

If anything, those players who didn't take advantage of dodge pets actually received the shorter end of the (bug) stick, as they lost to dodge pet players in the arena. I have discussed the situation with the dev team, and they agreed to DOUBLE all the Gems, Dust, and Pet Orb reward amounts from the Daily Checkin feature for next few months to make up for those who didn't have dodge pets, as well as help players who want to rebuild away from dodge pets now it's no longer broken.
