Double Monarch

I defeated Phongo to take hero hall monarch. Yet he sits on the monarch seat couple of hours later. Clearly he knows something I don't. Since he doesn't wish to tell me, I'm directing my curiosity here.

I have observed yet another player take monarch from phongo only to see him back as monarch a few hours later again. Either:
1. There is a bug that refreshes the monarch back to the first person who took it.
2. There is a bug allowing only phongo to challenge monarch multiple times even after taking it.
3. Phongo is cheating.
All 3 scenarios warrent a fix. Admin, at least acknowledge there is a problem please.

Hi All,
We found the bug in the game where winning Monarch fight was crashing for Phongo, where it does make him Monarch, but the bug would send him a data error and does not record that he won (so he can become monarch again). This has been corrected so bug should not happen again next week. Thanks again for everyone's report.
