Pet pieces fuse/raid

so I've fought to opponents which I won both times but it says I FAILED THE RAID and I dont win my puzzle pieces! Whats up with that?

Hi Fancyfree86,
it's a two step process. First step is the battle, which you need to win the battle to have a chance for the 2nd step which is the chance of raiding the piece, which can end with success or failure. You can fight higher chance opponent to have higher chance of successful raid after winning the battle.
