I suppose they're like real Beggars, just a nuisance!! How do we deal with this guy really?? At least with the gambler and wiseman I can just beat him up but why not the beggar? I mean really? The snake gave me a 20k ak47 for 100k!! I am pissed and want to put my sword through his SKULL!

Anyway what kind of deals have you all discovered from him? I rarely (if ever) get a profit from this sucker. my best deals net me a few bucks less than I give the beggar when I sell the thing. BUT if you think of it, it does save you money... if you wanted to buy that anyway you'd have to spend quite a bit more! He rarely gives me anything good anyway... and then he goes and gives me something that nets me 1/5th the cost of what I give him!!! Ho-ho-ho indeed :/ bah humbug is more like it. I'd line my coat with explosives so it'd rub off on him when he hugged me, that parasite.

I experimented around a bit, and Im pretty sure that i have the best way of dealing with the beggar. If you give him 1000 coins times your level (im level 35, so i give him 35k) he always gives me extra energy, which pretty much recoups the loss of giving him the money, plus you level up faster

And if you give him 2000xlevel you get an item that usually can be sold for more than you donated.

For instance, I gave him 72,000 and got a Laser Rifle that I can sell for 180,000 ; not a bad profit

Just scare him and he will generally drop coins as he runs away. I quit giving him money.

I tried jervs suggestion at level 16 I gave him $32000 - got a crummy $8000 item. I will just scare him in the future!

I used to give him tons of money (20x my lvl!) in hopes he'd give me something good :/ he never did. I now give him something like half as much as the cheapest item in the shops and, yeah, he typically gives me something I can sell for much more.

im level 46, i give him about 200,000 and i get energy every time, of course i have over 100million in the bank, so money doesnt matter to me at all
