I fused the wrong item. :(

I just made a huge mistake about 3 days ago. In my Dream World account (in Kongregate), I fused my good weapon with a lower level (crystal) armor, instead of a weak weapon (crystal or similar level) with around 50 enhancements.
As a result, I lost my Scoped Devil Gun +9 with over 800 enhancements because of my mistake. I've sent a Kongregate PM to kingk and I posted on their forums without response. Hence, I'm posting here asking for any help you can give me.
I also take the opportunity give a suggestion: please add a confirmation box when we try to fuse an item with over 500 enhancements into a lower level one.
