When you save up to buy a specific weapon or armor, and when you go to buy it it's gone!

What's up with that?

I go back to town to buy what I saved up for and it's gone replaced by inferior items.

yep, the top slot gets switched out every 5 minutes so try to catch your item before it reaches the top it's a game within the game

on a positive note... because they rotate you can end up with items better than you expected as well
