will there ever be a way to gift to your fellow dream world players. It would be nice to gift weapons and armor.

Most likely not. There used to be item lending via guilds, I believe this was removed.
The game simply doesn't have much of a way of preventing a player from being over-powered via gifting/lending. Those that say STR is a limiting factor, yeah.. lol, not at all. Very easy to surgery to 12/13 STR if need be or alternatively get low str req. items (I have 13 STR but am using a 6 req armor as its the best atm).
