Beach Relic

Postby CryFenril » Mon Nov 23, 2009 9:28 pm

I am noticing that "bash" is a new option when I get a chest. Is this related to getting the relic? Every chest I open "normally" just gives me the usual (albeit lovely) treasures and tells me that I did not find the lost relic...

Tangentially, what's up with the killer whales that have red names as opposed to the usual yellow?

according to changelog, bash only acts for a 50% chance to open the chest. to get the relic, u need to open chests, and by chance, u will find it. so if u bash, effectively the chances of finding the relic is halved.

theres almost always a "yellow" and a "red" version of the various mobs,
afaik the only difference is the red ones have 2x the HP of the yellow ones, thus make them harder to kill.

Any idea where the beach relic is as far as the area goes. I am done with that area and now moving to the next town and did not find the relic in oceana? Anyone else experiencing problems with that quest?

HAHA!! lol no j/p :P glad I could help! yeah it was in like my second trip through there IE I had passed the level already. So maybe it's like a fail safe. If you don't find it the first time around it'll be in the second area ^_^

Its really a math problem... no duh?.. for the life of me a cant remember the formula, but there is away to still figure out the farm questions... they give you a couple of clues... first - how many heads total.. second - how many legs total.. third - chickens that have two legs, or horses that have 4 legs, or cows that have 3 legs.... knowing this you have to do some calculations.. if ther are 98 heads and 270 legs (chickens (2 legs) and horses (4 legs).. then 61 chickens x 2 legs = 122 and 98 heads minus 61 heads = 37. therefore 37 horses times 4 legs = 148.. so 148 plus 122 = 270 legs.. how many horses are on the farm??? 37 Horses...... just an example.. but through trial and error you can come up with the correct answer.... good luck...
