Its really a math problem... no duh?.. for the life of me a cant remember the formula, but there is away to still figure out the farm questions... they give you a couple of clues... first - how many heads total.. second - how many legs total.. third - chickens that have two legs, or horses that have 4 legs, or cows that have 3 legs.... knowing this you have to do some calculations.. if ther are 98 heads and 270 legs (chickens (2 legs) and horses (4 legs).. then 61 chickens x 2 legs = 122 and 98 heads minus 61 heads = 37. therefore 37 horses times 4 legs = 148.. so 148 plus 122 = 270 legs.. how many horses are on the farm??? 37 Horses...... just an example.. but through trial and error you can come up with the correct answer.... good luck...
